Job Description

About the role:

As our new Organizational Change Management (OCM) Consultant you will play a key role in supporting the company’s future state vision by driving enterprise-level strategic change initiatives, creating and deploying change management strategies and developing change work-streams that maximize employees’ adoption of change. You will engage and work closely with various stakeholders across the organization, including subject matter experts that bring operational insight and knowledge from the larger organization, and will work to deeply embed OCM practices into the organization’s operations to achieve desired outcomes. This role is critical to help our employees understand, adjust to and adopt new practices, processes and tools required to meet business change objectives. YOU will help us get great at leading change!

About you:

You’re passionate about getting organizational change right. Period. You understand that an effective change strategy is intentional, and methodical, and that it doesn’t happen by accident. You love developing organizational change capabilities that support enterprise initiatives and create sustainability in ongoing change efforts. While you enjoy effectively leading enterprise change initiatives yourself, what you really have a knack for is walking along side business project owners to consult, coach and help effectively develop these competencies in others. Ideally, you have a background steeped in enterprise change management methodology, and will bring expertise capable of supporting the development of a best in class change management office.

Qualifications

Required:

Bachelor’s degree, with concentration in OCM, Training, Organizational Development, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Human Resources Management or related field OR equivalent work experience

6+ years of related work experience including the following:

  • Experience leading and driving enterprise change management activities and leveraging change management best practices and methodologies, including experience developing, implementing and measuring the effectiveness of change plans. OCM or related certification(s) preferred.
  • Experience supporting or leading or leading cross-functional organizational projects.
  • Demonstrate ability to work effectively across teams and groups to meet aggressive schedules.
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills — essential for interacting with key stakeholders, so as to manage, inform and influence successful outcomes.
  • Experience with and deep knowledge of change management methodologies, approaches and tools.
  • Strong working knowledge of industry-standard project management and agile methodologies.
  • Financial knowledge to ensure that organizational change efforts are aligned with the financial perspective of the desired business benefits.
  • Interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships at all levels within the enterprise.
  • Adept organizational awareness and strong negotiation/facilitation skills.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and PowerPoint skills.
