• Spend significant time concepting and estimating, and ensuring timely support to the Commercial team
• Identify and analyze customer needs and complete equipment utilization worksheets
• Review customer bid specifications to ensure expectations will be met by our offering
• Create equipment/line layouts
• Develop complete proposal package as a deliverable to customer
• Create applications package to handoff sold projects to operations
• Maintain standards library for equipment layouts
• Work with OEM Partners including communicating customer objectives and obtaining accurate proposals to be incorporated into our offer.
• Be apart on an environment of continuous improvement to help support reductions in engineering content (%) on sold products
• All other duties as assigned

• 5+ years related experience in Applications or Concepting with a global company

• A bachelor’s degree in engineering or similar experience is desired
• Experience working in the Packaging Industry and with a sophisticated CRM system desired

• Proven skill set in computer-aided drafting software (AutoCAD). 3D and simulation capabilities beneficial
• Ability to multi-task based on various project timelines
• Proven ability to proactively communicate with individuals and groups internal and external to the organization (meetings with customer, sales, engineering, manufacturing, field service, internal leadership)
• Experience and competency with Microsoft Office products
• Ability to work independently

• Typically sits, grasps items and performs keyboarding for occasional operation of a computer

• Stand, walk, bend, reach or otherwise move about occasionally
• Lift, move, or otherwise transfer items up to 30 lbs. occasionally
• Occasional exposure to typical machine shop physical hazards
• Travel by air or car – approximately 15%, as required
