Now Hiring - B2B Sales Representative (Government Sales) in Jessup, MD

We are seeking a driven and fascinating Inside Sales Representative whose responsibility is supporting our customers and the broader outside sales team by facilitating customer communication, order entry, quote/opportunity management, and general project-level administration. This Inside Sales Representative will support our Jessup, MD, Clinton, MA, and Newark, CA sites from the Jessup, MD. The first two quarters may be your most challenging.

The successful candidate must understand how marketing, business development, and sales are the ultimate resources for the company’s growth and future. While our successful candidate will also have a high passion for sales and will have responsibilities that include but are not limited to:

• Support the outside sales team by facilitating requests for quotes, validating incoming orders for accuracy (e.g., pricing accuracy, conformance to minimum order requirements, shipping instructions, terms, and conditions, etc.), entering orders, providing order acknowledgements, notifying customers of changes to orders, and coordinating with other areas of the business to expedite and track orders.
• Function as account owner for small to mid-size customers with support from Business Development Executives situationally, including price setting withing guidelines
• Answer and return customer phone calls and emails.
• Troubleshoot, research, resolve and escalate issues as necessary.
• Research customer complaints and support sales team in resolution.
• Collaborate with PM’s, Engineering, and Operations regularly to best serve the customer
• Regularly monitor customer portals used to communicate RFQ’s, PO’s, requested date changes, etc.
• Perform all functions of the job while adhering to established quality policies and procedures.
• Other essential duties as assigned.

Successful Candidate Qualifications

• High school diploma
• Two (2) plus years MS Office and CRM experience.
• Two (2) plus years inside sales experience in the aerospace industry
• Excellent attention to detail
• Software proficiency with Microsoft Office and web-based CRM applications.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
• Must be adaptable to a changing work environment and competing demands
• Ability to conform to shifting priorities, demands, and timelines. React to customer adjustments and alterations promptly and efficiently.
• Excellent time management skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24.00 - $31.00 per hour
