Full description of the position

Overview:
Toyota of North Austin is part of the fast growing Group 1 Automotive, a leader in automotive retail. We are looking to add a qualified Business Development Center Agent to our Service team. Full and part time positions available with room for advancement!

This position makes outgoing phone calls to customers based on service needs such as open recalls and past due for scheduled maintenance. You will be setting service appointments for customers for our Services advisors at the dealership. We are well known for our rapid growth and focus on our employees. Starting $18.00 with room for increase within the first 90 days!

Responsibilities:
  • Communicate effectively with our customers via Phone, Internet or Text.
  • Respond to customer inquiries immediately.
  • Learn and follow the scripting required by our process.
  • Set appointments for our customers.
  • Study, learn and understand our maintenance we offer.
  • Learn and maintain a thorough knowledge of Dealership policies, products and procedures.
  • Establish personal goals that are consistent with the productivity requirements of the Dealership.
Qualifications:
  • At least 1 year of Telemarketing, Appointment Setting and Customer Service Experience.
  • Auto dealership Internet or Business Development Center (BDC) experience is preferred.
  • Superior communication and customer service skills
  • Excellent follow-through skills
  • Solid working knowledge of the Internet
  • Maintaining a positive, can-do attitude
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
