This is an entry level position that could grow into a higher-level position within our agency.

This position is located in-office at our Round Rock, Texas location.

Salary Range: $20000.00 - $50000.00 per year

This position is with a State Farm independent contractor agent, not with State Farm Insurance Companies. Employees of State Farm agents must be able to successfully complete any applicable licensing requirements and training programs. State Farm agents are independent contractors who hire their own employees. State Farm agent's employees are not employees of State Farm.

• Assist in soliciting new business via telephone, networking, and other lead sources.
• Document each customer contact in CRM.
• Immediately greet all customers, entering the office, in a friendly and helpful manner.
• Ask each customer for referrals and explain our referral program.
• Treat each customer contact as a cross and up-sell opportunity including financial products.
• Answer incoming phone calls on the first ring.
• Return all phone messages promptly.
• Be outstanding at relationship building.
• Cold call, direct email and perform other lead generation activities.
• Obtain prospects information such as name, address, vehicle information and enter into quote sheets while also scheduling appointments for sales staff to meet prospective customers.
• Foster strong relationships with our customers to maintain a high level of client retention and product loyalty.
• Assess and identify the wants and needs of your customer(s) over the phone

• Possess a genuine willingness to learn, be intuitive and resourceful and be coachable.
• Knowledgeable and Proficient in Microsoft Office Software.
• Proficiency to multi-task, follow-thru and follow-up.
• Excellent Communication/interpersonal skills.
• Assist in promoting Social Media efforts for the Agency
• Confident, self-starter who works well independently who is highly motivated.
• Prior Sales Experience.
• Career minded vision.
• Excellent Spelling and Grammar skills.
• Great Customer Service Skills with professional phone etiquette.
• Problem-Solving Capabilities.
• Works well with other employees and is a team player with a positive attitude.
• Bilingual, fluent in both English and Spanish is Required.
