South Texas Regional Sales Manager
(This territory covers the southern half of Texas, from Temple to the southern border).
To be considered for this job, you must either live in or be willing to relocate to within 50 miles of the Austin or San Antonio metroplex areas.

Applied Concepts, Inc., the industry leader in police traffic radar, is looking for an exceptional individual that can join our Sales team to help us continue the company's tradition of being the sales leader in our marketplace.
You will work out of your home office and sell the STALKER RADAR brand of speed measurement products, CopTrax Video Management Systems, and other specialized technology to law enforcement agencies throughout the South Texas territory.
If you have 5+ years' experience in face-to-face technical, service-oriented, and SAS sales with a willingness to travel 4 days and 3 nights weekly (via company car), and a proven track record of meeting sales quotas, increasing sales and customer satisfaction, then we are interested in you.
What you’ll gain:
- Competitive compensation and benefits: Pay is a combination of base salary, commissions, and bonuses. Base salary of $55,000 plus uncapped commissions on product sales in your assigned region. At quota, your total earning will be between $160,000 and $180,000.

How you’ll make a difference:
- Cover the South Texas territory, working out of your home office located in the territory described above
- Travel 4 days and 3 nights weekly using a GPS navigation system installed in your company car
- Communicate with customers and factory personnel using your Verizon cell phone and by email from your in-car laptop computer as you travel your territory
- Develop and execute an annual territory marketing plan that includes an annually adjusted sales quota
- Maintain account records and activities in a state-of-the-art Customer Relationship Management System using your in-car laptop computer fitted with a Verizon Air Card that provides high speed Internet access
- Provide monthly forecasts
What you’ll need to succeed:
- Previous outside sales experience
- A valid driver's license with a clean and verifiable driving record
- Pass a drug screening test
Desired Skills:
- Previous sales production up to and including $2.5M annually
- Previous track record in successfully achieving annual sales quotas
- Experience selling to either government agencies or industrial customers
- Proven skills in planning, executing, and following through on leads and cold-call assignments
- Computer literate (MS Word/Excel/Power point/Outlook/Microsoft Streets & Maps)
- Extensive experience documenting sales activities within an internal tracking database program
