Summary:

Trailer Bridge is looking for an energetic, talented, and self-motivated go-getter to join our growing logistics team. As an LTL (Less-Than-Truckload) Specialist, you will have the opportunity to develop a successful and energetic career and be given the tools and training to “Make it Happen”. You will be responsible for assisting with the execution, direction, and coordination of all LTL matters across the company.

Essential Functions:

• Generate and provide LTL quotes.
• Create and send LTL documentation to appropriate parties internally and externally.
• Develop strong relationships with our carriers and customers to facilitate growth in revenue and profitability for the LTL mode within Trailer Bridge.
• Act as carrier and LTL Subject Matter Expert across the organization.
• Tender and track LTL shipments to ensure on time pickup/delivery as well as proactively communicate issues to our customers, carriers, and internal Trailer Bridge staff.
• Assist Commercial teams with LTL rate calculations, supply chain modeling, and commercial proposals.
• Develop a full working knowledge of Company TMS and champion adoption of best practices.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree and 0-1+ years of proven experience in logistics with focus on (LTL) Less-Than-Truckload Operations AND/OR equivalent combination of education and experience
• Ability to connect with and coordinate between key customers and internal/external stakeholders to promote and expand business opportunities
• Strong oral, written communication, and presentation skills
• Skilled in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint applications.
• Consistently meets deadlines
• Thrives under pressure

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
