Trench Shoring Company is hiring a Branch Manager in our Fresno, CA location. The Branch Manager is a uniquely exciting position at Trench Shoring Company that combines the tactical responsibilities of managing a branch, with the leadership responsibilities of helping employees develop in their careers. They are responsible for upholding the purpose; to enable our customers to be safe and successful.

As Branch Manager, you will work as part of a larger branch management team to provide industry leading customer service to our construction rental customers, safety guidance to our employees, and sales support to our sales team(s).

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Ensure employees work safely at both the branch location, and on customer job-sites.
• Oversee the completion of all customer orders from initial call in the dispatch office to equipment return.
• Review paperwork, and inventory for accuracy. Identify missing or damaged equipment and work with sales team to rectify with customer(s).
• Provide continuous training and coaching to Customer Service, Driving, and Equipment Yard teams. Responsible for ongoing performance evaluations and disciplinary process for all employees in a specific branch.
• Effectively implement and maintain company procedures that have been put in place to ensure regulatory and safety compliance (i.e. meal break documentation for non-exempt employees).
• Address customer complaints and resolve problems by working cross-functionally with appropriate branch-specific and/or corporate employees.
• Recognize employee achievements and encourage excellence in the work environment while providing regular performance feedback.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

• Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems in coordination with Trench Shoring Company policies and applicable laws.

Qualifications:

• 5-8 years of managing diverse teams of 15 or more employees.
• Previous experience in the construction industry. Understanding of shoring and/or rental equipment is a preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in related field is preferred.
• Familiarity with yard operations and experience in trucking or fleet rental is an advantage
• Possess a valid and clean Class C Driver's License issued by the Department of Motor Vehicles and must meet the company’s insurability requirements
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills
• Ability to deal effectively with diverse individuals at all organizational levels
• Ability to understand any and all safety requirements and cautions
• Bilingual skills in English and Spanish are a plus

Pay: $82,118.41 - $123,177.62 per year

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• Overtime

Supplemental pay types:
