Technical Inside Sales Professional

LACO - A leader in leak testing technology with over 850 customers in 40 countries

LACO Technologies is seeking an experienced sales professional to drive our leak test instrument sales.

We help our customers improve their products to shape the future. We manufacture products for world-class companies including Tesla, Lockheed, Fox, SpaceX, Apple, Northrop Grumman, and Blue Origin.

We are currently seeking a high-performing Technical Sales Professional. The right person for this job is someone who can dive right in and build strong working relationships with our customers, sales representatives, and distributors. Your ability to work effectively through email and phone conversations is key to your success here at LACO. We need someone who can make sure our customers are getting the best experience by being responsive and listening to their needs!

In your role as our Technical Inside Sales Professional, you will:

  • Drive sales for our line of leak-detection instruments
  • Work directly with customers, sales representatives, and distributors
  • Develop, lead, and manage your sales funnel
  • Work with customers to understand their applications
  • Work with our engineering team to solve customer problems
  • Communicate via phone & email
  • Respond to customer requests in a timely & responsive manner
  • Provide an exceptional customer experience

Skills Required:

  • Technical aptitude
  • Outstanding customer relationship skills – friendly, outgoing & personable
  • Good listener, team player
  • Strong time management & organization skills
  • Comfortable with applications – CRM, eCommerce ERP systems & Microsoft Office
  • Attention to detail is a must

Education & Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years of technical sales experience
  • Demonstrated success selling technical products to end users and OEMs
  • A self-starter with excellent verbal, written, and electronic communication skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or related equivalent experience

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Pay: $60,000 - $75,000 base salary plus commissions
  • Shift: Monday through Friday regular business hours with some flexibility in your start and stop times. As well as the ability to participate in our 9/80 work schedule which gives you every other Friday off.
  • Travel: 0 – 10% travel annually. Most of your time will be spent working in our office.
