What we are looking for

  • Strong business communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written
  • A leader who can take ownership of their tasks and complete special projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Someone who enjoys working as and being part of a team that provides great experiences for our Guests
  • Hotel operations experience, group sales and catering experience preferred
Requirements:
What you will be doing
The Sales and Catering Coordinator will assist in the execution of the administrative process, service, detail, and efficiently communicate to all departments the group needs from the time of booking through check out date

  • Executing the non-selling functions of the department in order to allow sales and catering staff maximum time for soliciting and securing additional business for the hotel
  • Take ownership of all incoming sales and catering phone calls, assisting clients and other managers
  • Complete banquet event orders (BEOs), group resumes and banquet event distribution information as needed by Director of Catering
  • Efficiently performing all assigned sales and catering duties including processing incoming leads and executing Agreement turnovers
  • Ensuring all deadlines are met, performing assigned duties, maintaining sales and catering files, and acting as a liaison between the resort and clients
  • Assist the sales and catering staff in all sales-related duties for group, corporate and catering-related businesses
  • Execute social media strategies and assist with content creation on a monthly basis
  • Assist in the servicing of in-house groupsas directed by DOSM
  • Ensure efficient communication of group needs to hotel operations staff
  • Execute assigned sales reporting and ensure all deadlines are met
  • Follow-up on all special projects and assignments given by the DOSM
  • Other responsibilities as assigned
