Support sales team to achieve company sales goals. Candidate must be highly motivated, career-minded, trustworthy, hardworking, organized, courteous, have a friendly smile, strong people skills, passion to sell, and the willingness to please clients. Candidate must also have excellent communication skills and a love for superior customer service. Sparkle Assistant must also be computer literate. Knowledge and experience in the jewelry/fashion industry are a plus but not required.

We are looking for a person with a “fire in their belly.” Don’t worry we will teach you all there is to know about jewelry!

Requirements

Ø Must be service-minded, professional with confidence; possess self-esteem and a personality

Ø Dedicated and eager to learn & help support the management team.

Ø Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word and the ability to navigate the internet with ease.

Ø Take charge attitude…. ready to jump in wherever needed!

Ø We’re looking for the ultimate people pleaser

Ø Work up to 40 hours a week (including Saturdays).

Specific Responsibilities

Ø Support sparkle associates by selecting merchandise or getting merchandise requested by fellow salespeople. Return unsold merchandise to the cases.

Ø Answer the telephone, gift wrap, handle point of sale, and financing for sparkle associates.

Ø Set-up, clean store, and jewelry as necessary. Maintain the proper display of products to ensure they comply with the store’s image and quality standards.

Ø Assist in clienteling by helping sparkle associates contact guests routinely for special occasions by handwriting Thank You notes and Birthday/Anniversary cards, and help correspond as necessary after the sale (e.g. phone calls, sending thank you notes, follow-up 6 months).

Ø Call clients about upcoming jewelry shows and events

Ø Data entry - Enter new customer names in the database and update records currently in the system.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $35,000.00 - $40,000.00 per year
