The position of Inside Sales Representative supports our Compressed Air Division of the existing sales team through leads, prospect acquisitions, specifically on capital project announcements. Develop leads through contacting prospects and existing customers through phone and email. Support an industry leading sales team by qualifying leads and handing off potential projects. Position can report out of any Compressed Air Division branch.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develops sales opportunities by researching and identifying potential accounts, soliciting new accounts, building rapport, and providing technical information.
• Develops accounts by checking customers buying history, suggesting related and new items and explaining technical features.
• Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound calls and emails.
• Understand customer needs and requirements.
• Route qualified opportunities to the appropriate sales executives for further development and closure.
• Research accounts, identify key players and generate interest.
• Maintain and expand your database of prospects within your assigned territory.
• Meet assigned weekly quotas for customer contacts.

REQUIREMENTS:

• High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred
• Proven inside sales experience
• Strong phone presence and experience with high call volume daily
• Proficient with corporate productivity and web presentation tools

• Strong listening and presentation skills
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
• 3-5 years of industry sales experience preferred
