Full description of the position

  • Actively promote all product lines
  • Actively sell parts and service
  • Maintain a constant book of business
  • Complete all quotes within a 24hr timeframe or in a manner that exceeds the customer expectations. If 24 hours is not feasible, the customer needs to be made aware of your progress.
  • Seek new business through networking events, associations, public/government affiliations
  • Effectively communicate with the General manager and Operations manager on current opportunities and current work within the operation.
  • Act as the liaison between the shop and the customer as effectively and efficiently as possible. Be a problem solver

Explanation of Position:

This position will be 90% remote 10% in the office. As an outside sales rep, your job will be to seek new business through networking and cold calls. The territory will be all of Ohio. You will the ability to sell for either Body company located within the state of Ohio. We are seeking a highly motivated sales rep to establish and build the Ohio territory. This position will report directly to the Vice President and General Manager.

Requirements:

  • High school degree or equivalent required
  • 3+ years recent/relevant experience with outside sales
  • Experience in Medium or Heavy-Duty Trucks
  • Basic/Intermediate computer skills, including Microsoft Office
  • Ability to work in a team-based environment
  • Ability to work remote
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Problem solving ability, willingness to develop unique customer solutions
  • Experience with communicating with municipalities (preferred)
  • Experience in quoting and bids for work

All applicants must pass pre-employment testing to include background checks, MVR, and drug testing to qualify for employment. Must have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
