Domestic Account Executive I responsibilities and essential job functions include, but are not limited to the following:

• Research leads, develop entrance strategies and qualify your prospects transportation spend to generate new business
• Present R+L Global Logistics full range of services to your customer base, allowing yourself to build a complete logistics and supply chain solution for the customer
• Prepare quotes for new and existing business partners to meet your monthly and quarterly goals
• Enter and validate customer information is accurately input within our transportation management system
• Partner with the Capacity Procurement team to ensure loads are covered and dispatched
• Communicate frequently with the Capacity team and/or carriers regarding shipment to ensure the shipper and consignee are aware of any challenges that may arise
• Consistently track and trace your freight movements from origination to destination and solve any operational challenges that may arise
• Exude the highest level of customer service

Qualification, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Have the drive, assertiveness, passion, and dedication to succeed in the logistics industry
• Ability to manage complex transactions and emotional customer situations professionally
• High school diploma or GED
• Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics/Supply Chain, Marketing, International Business, Psychology, Sales or Transportation a plus
• Previous experience in a full truckload business development and/or operations a plus
• Previous experience in the following modes: dry van, expedited, flatbed, oversized, refrigerated or intermodal a plus
• Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently
