Are you trying to take your career in tech sales to the next level? Meriplex is looking for experienced tech sales professionals to join our rapidly growing team as Strategic Consultants. In this role, you will introduce Meriplex IT solutions to potential new customer acquisitions and foster solid connections amongst technology experts across multiple industries (healthcare, finance, retail, government, etc.). You will pave a path for success by following Meriplex’s tried and true new logo acquisition tactics to meet and exceed your quotas and KPIs.

Key Responsibilities/ Duties:*

- Possess a results-driven mindset to proactively develop business opportunities independently.
- Maintain an accurate and timely pipeline for reporting including management of customer/client data.
- Follow up on warm leads passed down from marketing team within a timely manner.
- Partner with marketing team to adjust materials for sales needs when necessary.
- Consistently engage directly with technology partners (EOM) providing updates on new opportunities as they develop.
- Actively participate in training sessions targeted at the sales team to maintain a high level of working knowledge about Meriplex products, services, and solutions.
- Learn and practice the Meriplex sales process for new logo acquisition to build and maintain a robust pipeline.
- Build and maintain rapport and trust within the organization through frequent communication, responsive ownership of deliverables, and respect for colleagues.
- Develop and maintain a high level of working knowledge about Meriplex products, services, and solutions.
- Maintain/manage a marketing plan utilizing email, webinars, events, etc. for your targeted prospects as well as assist with company-wide marketing programs.
- Responsible for providing excellent customer services to all assigned customers.

Education/ Experience:*
- 2-3 years of B2B sales experience required.
- Some experience with IT sales and business development, preferably in relation to technology manufacturers or solution providers.
- Extensive knowledge of various IT sales and business solutions involving: Intelligent Networks (WAN), Managed Security Services, Managed Services, Unified Communications as a Service, Hardware, Professional Services, Cloud and Disaster Recovery Services.
- Experience with companies pursuing and undergoing rapid growth.
- Intermediate or advanced CRM skills preferred.

Work Schedule/Travel:*
- Standard Meriplex business hours of Monday - Friday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
- The ability to have a flexible schedule due to work volume and proposal deadlines is a must.
- Some travel required, up to 25%.
