Job Summary

As a Sales Associate (SA), you will collaborate with the regional sales teams and actively consult with NWL business partners to help identify their client?s life insurance and/or annuity needs. Once identified, your key objective is to professionally present solutions to meet those needs and assist in the sales process.

This role is part of a family of jobs on the sales and marketing team. Tiered promotional opportunities based on experience and consultative sales competency.

Essential Functions

• Answer incoming sales desk calls from NWL business partners, agents and their staff.
• Provide sales support tools (e.g., illustrations, literature, etc.), as well as sales and marketing ideas on NWL?s product offerings to producers, marketers and distributors.
• Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with regional sales teams to effectively coordinate and achieve territory sales and objectives.
• Provide field intelligence to internal partners on existing and targeted producers, marketers and distributors.
• Meet or exceed all department sales goals and activity metric targets, where applicable.
• Document and maintain sales call data in appropriate systems and complete sales reports.
• Forward requests and concerns from the field to the appropriate internal teams.
• Develop and maintain knowledge of NWL annuity and life solutions, internal systems and applications, and sales and marketing strategies, in order to fully support the sales teams and help drive sales.
• Problem solve with a solutions-minded approach.
• Remain current in profession and industry trends.
• Make a positive contribution as demonstrated by learning new skills and making suggestions for improvements to existing procedures and processes.
• Perform other duties as required.
