Our customers are a wide range of companies in the Aerospace & Defense, Semiconductor, Electronic, Microwave, Power industries and most companies that do research, development design and testing. We are looking for a dedicated, competitive, and self-motivated Outside Sales Representative to join our growing company. The territory includes the East San Francisco Bay Area. It is an established territory with a proven client base. Rep will work from our main office in Vista, CA 2 weeks per month and make field calls in their territory the other 2 weeks.

Job Purpose:

Solicit and obtain opportunities with existing and potential customers to supply the Company's products and services by making phone, virtual and in-person presentations.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Maintain an accurate list of prospects and customers. Keep current account information updated in company database.

2. Pursue and close leads with key equipment users and decision makers through a combination of phone, virtual, email, and direct face to face interaction.

3. Perform special projects and administration tasks as directed as an Outside Sales Representative.

4. Pro-actively pursue and develop relationships with key equipment users and decision makers through a combination of outbound calls (phone and virtual), face to face meetings & emails.

5. Communicate and work closely with the Axiom management team.

6. Call Planning and preparation prior to making sales calls.

7. Timely completion of all call input and expense reports.

8. Ability to successfully multi-task and manage concurrent selling situations including, but not restricted to face to face presentations, follow-up on current orders and pending orders, quoting, negotiation and the closing of deals.

9. Must have the discipline to work out of a home office.

10. Territory, customer, and account growth through an increase in revenue and number of accounts brought into Axiom fold as an Outside Sales Representative.

Qualifications:

1. Knowledge of products carried in Axiom’s inventory (this is learned during training).

2. Sales knowledge typically gained through two (2) years of outside-inside sales experience.

3. Self-starter capable of working with minimum supervision in the field and at home office and customers locations as required.

4. Computer Literate with the ability to access, input and retrieve data from simple programs and internet as needed to complete basic job functions. Working knowledge of Outlook, Word, Excel required.

5. Must have good driving record.

6. Must possess excellent oral and written skills needed to communicate with customer base and Axiom Team as an Outside Sales Representative.

7. Must be willing to travel 1-2 weeks a month.

Required Education:

• Minimum 2 year College or equivalent

Salary: $50,000.00 Base + Uncapped Commissions (Expected Income $80K-$115K)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
