Showroom /Design & Sales Manager Job Description

Position Overview:

• Meet expected sales goals as per your showroom/market.
• Develop new business relationships through meetings and networking with trade clientele.
• Seek new trade clients through industry research and active outreach. (Please note; outside sales is a percentage of your time).
• Maintain repeat clientele.
• Attend industry events as applicable such as ICAA events, market specific architect or designer events, showroom openings
• Plan and host showroom events (breakfast, happy hours, Lunch & Learns) on a regular basis
• Independently network with trade industry partners to keep abreast of incoming projects.
• Maintain showroom appearance and organization to present the showroom as a selling tool.
• Keep abreast of details and developments of your orders, along with shipping and delivery of product, to ensure accuracy and complete client satisfaction.
• Work in tandem with designated Account Executive to project manage sold jobs.
• Increase your knowledge of the building and interior design industries.
• Be able to speak intelligently about our products and the stone business.
• Assist in resolving all client problems and complaints when required.
• Willingness and ability to self learn the product list and information pertinent to job success using the tools and information provided by Paris Ceramics materials and training schedule

Job Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years in an active selling role as opposed to business development
• Must have at least three years of experience in the design/build trade and a comprehensive understanding of the sales cycle
• Computer proficiency (MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and be trainable on our industry specific software).
• Self motivated to learn given all the tools to excel at the position.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $210,000.00 per year
