Job Summary
The Assistant Manager of Sales coordinates all activities within the department and oversees ongoing and new projects. As a main point of contact to the customer, duties include promoting Vuteq’s capabilities and communicating customer requirements internally.
Responsibilities
· Management duties; manage day to day tasks with sales coordinators and admins using the task managing software provided. Communicate the expectations of the customer to executive and sales team alike, and provide development team with new ideas based on customer needs. Review and approve all pricing to ensure accuracy and profitability.
· Daily contact with customers, by phone or email, to ensure their needs are met and ensure they understand Vuteq’s capabilities to support their needs. Face to face meetings as necessary.
· Marketing; prepare presentations, using Power Point. Quarterly updates to master presentation. Presentation master is standard however, presentation content will vary depending on subject meeting. Ensure Vuteq is well represented and customer events, such as the yearly customer business meeting and other events.
· Work with sales person of each Vuteq location to share/collect information ,communication ,etc
· Track customer’s project, analyze new business opportunities and develop project strategy to acquire new businesses.
· Coordinating; manage daily meetings with sales team to inform team on customer needs and to maintain that the entire sales team has a consistent level of customer knowledge and stays informed on company objectives and their contributions to those objectives.
· Provide assistance; support to coordinators and administrators.
· Possibly short term business trips in Mississippi ,Indiana ,Texas and, Canada
Required Skills
· Ability to manage time efficiently to meet deadlines set by customers.
· Prioritization skills; ability to adapt to changing demands (internal and/or external).
· Strong interpersonal skills when dealing with customer and colleagues.
· Proficient in using Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point.
· High analytical ability and attention to detail when reviewing and producing quotes for customers.
· Ability to present findings in front of large groups of people.
· Actively listening to different team member, customer, and supplier needs.
· Ability to manage team members in an efficient and productive way.
· Ability to show versatility and resourcefulness when problem solving.
Education and Experience
· A 4-year degree or equivalent work experience is required.
· 3-5 years of experience in customer service in a manufacturing setting preferred.
· 3-5 years of negotiating experience within internal sales in manufacturing setting.
· 3-5 years of cost development experience.
· 3-5 years of experience in the automotive industry.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 per year

- Bachelor's (Preferred)
