Piedmont is a growth-oriented company, and we need excellent leaders to help us grow our presence in one of the defined cities. We are currently hiring for an Outside Sales Representative in hopes of developing that territory to a point that leads us to open a physical location This candidate would have the opportunity to lead that operation as a Branch General Manager.
In this role you will:
- Utilize sales and marketing systems, assists in the development and the execution of annual sales plan and marketing strategies.
- Develop and strengthen relationships with current and prospective accounts, through scheduled appointment, virtual, and telephone activities
- Maintain and enhance personal product and technical knowledge in the Performance Plastics industry
- Utilize a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) as a tool within the Piedmont Sales System which includes opportunity pipeline management, strategic planning, prospecting, and focusing on high value opportunities
- Develop business up to a point that creates an opportunity to establish a physical branch presence
An ideal candidate will possess:
- 5 years of sales experience or equivalent in industrial distribution with a track record of exceeding sales goals
- Experience using a customer relationship management tool and Microsoft products
- A desire to drive the development of a new territory for the Company
