Summary
Provides technical support to Marketing department personnel in processing commercial insurance policies. Such serving will include verbal and written communication internally with staff and externally with current clients, insurance carriers and other office support activities. This position will be performed in-office and is NOT a remote position.

Relationships and Marketing
Provides daily support to Commercial Lines Insurance Marketing staff, Sales staff, and Account Managers.
Responsibilities include:
- Preparing accurate, properly completed acord applications.
- Processes new business and renewal submissions, loss history analysis, insurance proposals, binders, auto id's, endorsements, cancellations, and audits.
- Processes and follows up on all submissions to ensure timely responses and to answer questions and help solicit quotes for new and renewal business.
- Reviews submissions and insurance quotes promptly for accuracy based on information provided by sales staff and marketing team.
- Preparing renewal files and renewal kits including ordering of loss runs and loss summaries.
- Learning all Commercial Lines service standards and procedures.

File Management
Responsibilities include:
- Documenting all correspondence, following up for necessary information updates at appropriate times and keeping the client files organized and up to date

Teamwork
Works together with team and with other departments, such as Account Managers, Accounting, Claims, Producers, etc., this includes conferencing with Producer or Account Executive to discuss the execution of strategies. Manages PTO to work with departmental needs. Volunteers to back up and/or assist other Assistants as needed.

Education and/or Experience
Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
