Flood and Peterson is hiring an Associate Account Manager in our Diversified Large Commercial team!

This position will get to work with a variety of clients in a variety of industries within our Large Commercial division.

POSITION SUMMARY

Provide service to clients in conjunction with the Sales Executive, Account Executive or Senior Account Manager, while providing assistant level support to other team members’ books of business per the Account Assistant job description. Book: Automatic renewals and/or smaller accounts $5,000 - $10,000 revenue size.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Other duties may be assigned.

  • Responsible for collection of premium on all assigned accounts
  • Responsible for integrity of policy data in Agency Management Systems
  • Provide outstanding customer service and teamwork and seek to improve whenever possible
  • Manage account renewals including but not limited to the following:
  • Prepare and organize data for renewal documents
  • Complete applications as required, including specialty applications
  • Follow-up with renewal underwriters for quotes
  • Review quotes and prepare proposals
  • Perform all lower level duties proficiently

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

This position does not have supervisory responsibilities, but is expected to mentor new team members and lower level positions. Inform Supervisor/Manager of all matters that may give rise to an E&O claim

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS INFORMATION

In addition to regular pay, this position is eligible to participate in our annual performance incentive program. Bonuses may be available for client and employee referrals and for successful completion of approved industry designations.

Starting pay for this non-exempt position is $23.00 - $27.50 per hour. Pay may exceed this range for well-qualified candidates, commensurate with experience.

Requirements:

Education and Work Experience

One year certificate from college or technical school; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations (if applicable)

  • Actively pursuing industry designation of CISR or equivalent
  • Possess and maintain a Colorado multiple lines license
  • Requires current Colorado driver’s license and acceptable MVR
