Job Summary
Supports Government/Public Funds Treasury Management Sales Officers (TMSO) with revenue generating and client retention activities. Works closely with TMSO in the development of proposals and sales presentations. Participates in pre- and post-sale activities including coordination of pre-call plan and call debrief sessions as requested. May have direct responsibility across a certain portion of a TMSOs portfolio including direct sales via telephone. Contributes to team revenue goals through individual sales generation.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Prepares prospect decks for new and existing clients working closely with Treasury Management Sales Officers (TMSO). Compiles data and partners with TMSO to create pro forma statements, cash flow diagrams, treasury reviews, and other information to assist in the sales process.
- Actively participates in RFP kick-off call with sales team and applicable internal partners. Reviews RFP document for important details, comments and product specific items pertinent to the qualifcation of the proposal. Coordinates calls with product partners and TMSOs in coordinations with RFP project plan after RFP participation approval.
- Coordinates kick-off call with customer and applicable internal partners. Researches customer relationships within the bank and prepares consultative review decks and pitch books, in preparation for calls with customers. Coordinates calls with product partners and TMSOs to develop implementation plans and to research solution details.
- Assists TMSO, onboarding team and other partners with implementation coordination for new and existing customers. Contacts new customers in partnership with TMSO to ensure satisfaction with service delivery and the smooth implementation of new Treasury services.
- Provides support to customers including assisting with implementation documentation, answering questions, and ensuring the proper completion of returned documents. Reviews internal tracking reports and provides follow-up on product implementation requests. Assists customers with product orientation and training as needed.
- Works with TMSO throughout the sales cycle to manage pipeline and ensure services and pricing are accurately established. Coordinates with internal partners to ensure successful implementation, product ramp-up and accurate pricing and billing.
- Identifies and understands customer product needs for potential cross sell opportunities in support of revenue goals. Identifies opportunities to deepen existing customer relationships by offering solutions to meet identified needs in a knowledgeable, accurate and professional manner.
- Understands Treasury cash management structure and objectives. Maintains knowledge of Synovus' Treasury Management products, services and related applications. Develops understanding of competitors' products and positioning within the customer market.
- Each team member is expected to be aware of risk within their functional area. This includes observing all policies, procedures, laws, regulations and risk limits specific to their role. Additionally, they should raise and report known or suspected violations to the appropriate Company authority in a timely fashion.
- Performs other related duties as required.

Minimum Education:
- Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Minimum Experience:
- Four years of financial services or banking experience required.

- Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) designation
