• Estimated annual base pay: $67,372(minimum) - $84,215 (midpoint)

What you will be doing

• Delivers strategic analysis with a focus on products, markets, customers, and technologies within the Aerospace and Industrial industries.
• Analyzes and documents financial, market and company information - historical, prospective or hypothetical - to provide insights for the business regarding its performance; supports business decisions, and plans for the future.
• Develops and maintains complex financial models used for decision support, such as discounted cash flow analysis, combination analysis, and comparable companies and comparable transactions analyses for use by executive leaders.
• Communicates and validates analyses with key stakeholders across the businesses and functions to integrate best thinking into one Woodward view of a particular situation
• Leads important transaction-related processes including teams/logistics and due diligence process management

What We Are Looking For

• Ability to deliver quality data-driven, analytical work-product consistently and within deadlines
• Strong attention to detail and ability to track/manage high degree of complexity (i.e., due diligence processes)
• Strong understanding of financial statements (i.e., balance sheet, income statement, cash flow statements)
• Ability to build Excel-driven financial models to forecast a company’s financials, estimate valuation or simulate transaction consequences/impacts to Woodward financials and shareholder value
• Ability to incorporate key risk parameters into financial forecasting/estimation via probabilities and sensitivities
• Strong ability to compose and draft written Word or Power Point materials for use with company senior leaders
• Ability to thoughtfully articulate an analysis or presentation with considerations/risks/tradeoffs and unknowns
• Communicates well with senior members of the team regarding updates, progress and challenges (timing or otherwise)
• Ability to demonstrate understanding of the business and the markets in which we operate, particularly aerospace and industrial

Education

• Bachelor's Degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS) in Accounting or Finance required

Experience

• 0-5 years' experience working in a financial planning and analysis, or transaction-driven environment required

Travel

• 5% domestic/international travel may be required. 4 weeks/year
