JOB TITLE: Account Manager

Job Summary

The Account Manager is a critical support role at Signal Funding that requires knowledge and understanding of the legal landscape. This is a full-time position. The Account Manager is responsible for coordinating with our attorney relationships, plaintiffs, brokers, and internal staff to ensure the timely and efficient movement of a customer’s case through the funding process.

Responsibilities:

• Help develop relationships with law firms and our contacts at the firms
• Obtain various legal documents from the firms and upload appropriate files in our system
• Communicate with your partnered Relationship Manager and outside firms via phone and email
• Monitor email throughout the day for incoming legal documents and faxes
• Assist in resolving any administrative problems
• Complete projects as assigned by management
• Prepare and modify documents including correspondence, reports, drafts, memos, and emails
• Process a funding request quickly and efficiently
• Evaluate the merits of the cases being reviewed for legal funding
• Understand the AM standards for notating files, saving documents, and general workflow processes
• Create a system of communication with the assigned Relationship Manager to assist the RM in establishing legal relationships and increasing funding volume
• Identify opportunities for Signal to establish its relationships with law firms, attorneys, legal staff, and other legal related organizations that can refer potential case fundings
• Evaluate areas in the funding processes/organizational workflow processes for improvement in efficiency

Qualifications:

• Bilingual
• 3+ years in a legal support role or litigation finance support/operations role, or a Paralegal with 1+ year of experience in a legal environment is required
• Background in customer service, legal support and/or operations
• Fluent in basic legal and medical terms necessary to communicate with external staff and brokers
• Proficiency in MS Office is required
• Knowledge of operating standard office equipment
• Excellent communication skills – written and verbal
• Ability to prioritize projects and strong problem solving and organizational skills
• Good research skills and attention to detail
• Ability to think on your feet, adapt to changing environments, and pivot across tasks in a

Pay: $40,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
