Job Description

The Personal Lines Insurance Customer Service Representative and Reception is primarily focused on reception and supporting Personal Lines Account Managers with their daily needs of servicing client and prospect accounts.

Salary Range: $36000.00 - $38000.00 per year

Responsibilities


Candidate responsibilities will include:

  • Communicating with clients and managing client expectations and satisfaction

  • Reviewing and analyzing claims with clients. Discussing and explaining coverage to clients

  • Checking policies, endorsements and other documents for accuracy

  • Comfortable with accounts receivable follow-up

  • Working closely with Mustard Seed Producers and insurance carriers to determine the proper market placement for quoting specific risks, and reviewing quotes in detail with Producers so they can present to their clients/prospects

  • Experience up selling/ cross selling

  • Developing an insurance needs analysis with your prospects and clients

  • Work with the existing book of personal lines clients

  • Presenting Mustard Seed solutions and closing business

  • Review the work of others in the office

  • Providing a great personal touch to maximize client retention



Requirements
  • Basic knowledge of personal lines insurance products and procedures
  • Insurance sales experience a plus
  • Appropriate state insurance license(s) by your start date. Property and Casualty is a must, Life is a plus.
  • Experience working with teams/employees in other insurance roles
  • Knowledge of software applications: MS Outlook, MS Excel, MS Word, MS Teams and AMS360 preferred
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Evidence of achieving goals in past endeavors
  • Four-year college degree a plus
