Job purpose
If you are a sales professional looking for an opportunity to grow, Hypersphere IT has an exciting opportunity for you! Based out of Atlanta, GA this role will have several key responsibilities related to growing the company's sales objectives by pursuing new prospective customer and onboarding new clients. Working with a lead generator, the Sales Development Representative will identify new customers to drive sales growth. They will pursue prospects, setup meetings with clients, discuss products and services offerings, prepare proposals and work with external sales team to understand prospective customers’ needs and overall IT strategies that we provide are the best solution to our clients!
As a Sales Development Representative you will:

  • Establish contacts and build relationships with prospective customers to ensure that they are fully aware of our services
  • Meet with prospects to understand their IT needs, challenges, current environment, and needs for a Managed Service Provider
  • Manage a funnel of opportunities across the country and drive sales channels to generate IT leads and support customer engagements / sales pursuits
  • Maintain dedicated customer facing focus, and develop sales and growth strategies in the defined territory to achieve and exceed bookings and growth targets ensuring consistency with business unit strategies
  • Provide marketing support to key customers such as prepare pricing strategy, product brochures, exhibition arrangement, campaign materials, website content and case study etc.
  • Prepare customized proposals and service agreements for interested prospects
  • Contact leads via phone, email, Teams meetings, or in person
  • Prepare quotes and proposals for clients within their timeline
  • Engage in pursuits from kickoff to close by guiding and supporting the account leadership along the sales' process
  • Meet a defined sales target and operate within established policy guidelines
  • Coordinate sales opportunities with internal team and partners
  • Collaborate with sales or systems engineers on technical proposals
  • Work with team to develop sales material and presentations for use in meetings
  • Address customer questions, concerns, and delivery of service
  • Resolve conflicts and provide solutions to clients
  • Manage specified account records in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system including lead man/lead womanagement and opportunity follow-up. Active participation in Profit On Return (POR) process
  • Maintain and improve technical proficiency, staying current with changes in the industry.
  • Proactively communicate to the sales leadership market trends, evidence of competition strategies, and customer behavior to feed into the overall business strategy.
  • Take ownership and maintain an evergreen customer records in the CRM system

Who You Are: You anticipate customer needs and provide services that are beyond customer expectations. You effectively communicate in various settings: one-on-one, small, and large groups, or among diverse styles and position levels. You pursue everything with energy, drive, and the need to finish.
Required education, experience & skills:
Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or 3-5 years proven experience in technical services, business development and lead generation leading enterprise engagements, with a consistent track record as sales representative in the technical field with annual sales responsibility of > $500K and above;
  • Must be customer-focused with strong communication, organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Strong customer service, problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • General knowledge of technology concepts, such as computer systems, servers, and cloud
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize and flexibility to change priorities with speed and accuracy with minimal oversight; solid attention to detail and time management skills
  • Must be a self-starter who is both diligent and responsible
  • Must use of Customer Relationship Manager (CRM)
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States

Preferred education, experience & skills:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a technical field
  • Experience in industry-specific sales, such as managed service contracts, security, and cloud technology
  • Demonstrated ability to learn proprietary systems and tools

Working conditions
This position is salary exempt, with a mix of work from home and on-location for clients and meetings. The Sales Development Representative is required to have reliable transportation available for the use of traveling to client locations. Sales Development Representative must have professional attire with all company-related travels.
Physical requirements
Job requires extended periods of both sitting and extended periods of standing, depending on the situation. Travel is required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
