POSITION SUMMARY — Assist Regional Sales Managers with daily functions related to all accounts. Inbound and Outbound communication with both accounts and end consumers, the sale of Dee Zee’s products, and ongoing support to the product distribution channel. Handle complex customer requests and monitor data and reports. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable qualified individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

WORK ENVIRONMENT — Must be willing and able to work in an environment exposed to elements that can include but are not limited to coolant, dust, mist, elevated noise, and uncontrolled temperatures.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Correspond with customers by phone, in person and email
• Promote sales revenue to meet assigned targets
• Keep informed of new products, services, and other general information of interest to customers
• Work closely with Regional Sales Managers and outside sales representatives to best meet the needs of the customers
• Determine charges based on predetermined discounts and prepares change of address records
• Inform customers and sales representatives of new products and procedures
• Thoroughly and efficiently gather customer information, access and fulfill customer needs, educate the customer where applicable to prevent the need for future contacts, and document interactions through contact tracking
• Troubleshoot customer issues over the phone
• Respond to customer challenges immediately
• Supports RFQ and APQP processes
• Attend required meetings both internal and external
• Receives orders for new finished good and replacement part orders
• Maintain a balance between company policy and customer benefit in decision making and handle issues in the best interest of both the customer and company
• Review customer reports and suggest opportunities
• Enhance a sales culture that emphasizes honesty, integrity, open communication, harmony, like minded goals and a focus to increase shareholder value while positioning Dee Zee as a leader in the industry
• Other duties as assigned
• Ability to stop the production line and/or prevent shipment of products due to nonconformance or potential nonconformance products to our customers
• Support the environmental policy with proactive process implementation, improvement suggestions, reducing waste, and acting on environment performance results and findings

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

Education: Associate’s Degree preferred

Experience: Two years or more related/sales experience preferred

Computer Skills: Must demonstrate computer literacy, Proficient using Microsoft Office including Adobe Reader and typing abilities

Certificates & Licenses:

Other Requirements: Ability to speak and understand Spanish is a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $24.00 per hour
