Responsible for the daily support of the sales functions to minimize the administrative work of producers and sales director. Responsibilities include analyzing and reporting sales data, communicating changes to sales plans, providing knowledge about customers and competitors, communicating pricing data, and managing the operational logistics of sales meetings and activities. Works closely with sales and other functional leaders to develop and maintain the operational infrastructure supporting sales recruiting, goal setting, training, fulfilling, and onboarding, troubleshooting order processing issues and producer requests, and sales-related information systems and procedures.
This position is full-time. Employees are required to have flexibility to work any of our 8-hour shift schedules during our normal business hours of 9:00am - 5:00pm EST. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime. Our office is located at 10175 Little Patuxent Parkway Columbia, MD 21044. Employees will be required to work some days onsite and some days from home

Primary Responsibilities:
Operational management of the Sales and Outreach team with data entry and CRM support
Works closely with the sales and outreach team to support Account Managers, leadership, field staff, etc. all servicing Federal Programs
Manage fulfillment responsibilities, print and warehouse relationships for sales team
Field and virtual support to service agency partners
Booth build and material support to assist sales and account management team at in-person fairs, agency events and field work
Relationship building with the team, internal matrix partners, and external vendor relations
Own event and administrative reporting
Work on materials, presentation decks, and training material to support the sales and field staff
Manage the fall programming of the Feds CRM with the next years materials
Oversee all material shipping logistics, booth supplies, booth builds and setups
Flex into field support at in person events and or virtual event support as needed

Required Qualifications:
High School Diploma / GED (or higher)
2+ Years of previous admin and data entry experience
Ability to travel up to 25%
Sales support and or account management experience
Microsoft Office including Microsoft Word (create correspondence and work within templates), Microsoft Excel (ability to sort, filter, and create simple spreadsheets), and Microsoft Outlook (email and calendar management) and PowerPoint (creating slides and presentations)
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree (or higher)
Experience working with the Federal Government and/or Federal Agencies
Telecommuting Requirements:
Reside within commutable distance to Columbia, MD
Required to have a dedicated work area established that is separated from other living areas and provides information privacy
Ability to keep all company sensitive documents secure (if applicable)
Must live in a location that can receive a UnitedHealth Group approved high-speed internet connection or leverage an existing high-speed internet service
