Sales & Office Support

REPORTS TO: PC Manager
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Experience and competency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Knowledge of general accounting principles
• High degree of accuracy, attention to detail and confidentiality
• Excellent analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills
• Math skills that include calculating percentages, decimals and multipliers.

ADDITIONAL COMPETENCIES:

• Ability to work with a team.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Detail oriented, attentive.
• Driven, assertive, motivated.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• 1-2 years Accounts Payable experience
• 1-2 years Customer Service experience
• Associates degree from two year college or technical school; Bachelors degree

WORKING CONDITIONS:

• This position operates in a professional office environment which may require sitting for extended periods.
• Position requires routine use of office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, fax machines, filing cabinets
• · May be some exposure to dust, heat or cold, and other seasonal changes. On-site at Customer facilities and industrial construction job sites delivering material and performing VMI activities.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: No
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Gather and communicate product lead times and important production information from vendors to sales team and customers.
• Analyze sales issues and come up with potential solutions and present to sales team and/or customers.
• Ability to navigate computer system to answer questions, enter customer orders, credit memos and vendor purchase orders.
• Be organized and consistent while multi-tasking.
• Understand customer's needs and expectations.
• Receive and forward customer and vendor feedback while making suggestions for improvement.
• Desire to exceed expectations and earn trust and confidence in one's capabilities and performance.
• Support and back up inside sales reps with various tasks including customer requests & quotations, sales, and ordering, and creating sales registers
• Work with management to determine customer-pricing structure.
• Build relationships with customers you work with to gain additional business insights.
• Restock on-site inventories (VMI) at customers, look for additional crib items to add to VMI program, identify additional sales opportunities, and make changes to quantities and products based on customer discussions and feedback.
• Use phone/tablet based VMI applications to track and reorder customer inventory.
