Utility Solutions Inc. is seeking an experienced sales professional to join our organization as Territory Sales Manager in the Western Region covering CA, AZ, NV, UT, ID, OR, MT, and WA. Our ideal candidate must be self-motivated, growth-oriented, and a good communicator with a proven history of success.
The Territory Sales Manager reports to the Sales Director. This position focuses on overall territory management, creating new opportunities, product approval, presentations, territory growth, customer service, and the ability to develop new business through existing customers and new prospects.
Responsibilities
- Maintain a working knowledge of USI products and how to demonstrate them
- Able to locate and share product literature and pricing
- Maintain an accurate Customer List in the CRM database
- Build valuable relationships with Customers and Distributors in assigned territory
- Contact and visit (in-person and virtually) new and existing Customers and Distributors to grow relationships and generate sales
- Answer customer questions, understand needs, and offer solutions and support
- Generate and follow up on leads from Calls, Visits, Trade Shows, Websites, Emails, and other marketing efforts
- Create and manage opportunities for customer quotes and sample requests
- Work closely with Sales & Marketing to create annual sales targets
- Follow the Opportunity Process inside the CRM database
- Track weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance, and sales metrics
- Initiate and follow through on the product approval process
- Coordinate successful sales strategy with the Manufacturers Representative and Distribution Network.
- Follow commercial price policy
- Ability to travel throughout the territory to provide technical demonstrations and presentations of all products to prospects as well as existing customers.
- Work closely with Customer Service to keep account activities current
- Monitor competition by gathering current marketplace trends
- Evaluate market trends and opportunities with existing or new products
- Advise management of new product ideas to increase market share
- Participate in trade shows and exhibitions as needed

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 3-4 years outside sales experience required
- Ability to travel 45-50% of the year
- Willing to submit to a pre-employment drug screen and background check
- Experience within the Electric Utility field desired
- Must be able to pull and utilize our product demonstration trailers
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $90,000.00 per year
