CIRCON Environmental is an industry leader in waste management services. We are growing and currently seeking a full time Account Sales Executive to join our team. We offer competitive salary and generous bonus structure. We offer full health and supplemental benefits, generous PTO, and 401k.
The Account Sales Executive will manage and drive the sales of non-hazardous byproducts received and processed as feedstocks for energy recovery at CIRCON’s facility in Birmingham, AL. This position involves the development and growth of a new sales territory.
- Pursues and develops new business targets within an assigned geographic territory.
- Grows existing accounts by identifying new opportunities and services for CIRCON.
- Follows through on any assigned leads generated from within the company.
- Responds to customer requests in a timely fashion by phone, email or in person
- Follows all guidelines and programs set up by Sales Manager and VP of Sales.
- Enters and tracks sales activities within CIRCON’s Salesforce program.
- Works closely with plant operations personnel to target and pursue materials suitable for processing at the facility.
- Communicates regularly with the Sales Manager, VP of Sales, and the assigned customer service representative.
- Monitors & updates records on accounts with respect to price changes, re-certifications, new profiles, analyses, and new information needed due to regulatory changes or CIRCON’s internal standards.
- Performs other job-related duties assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree and experience in the waste recycling and disposal industry preferred.
- Knowledge of EPA and DOT regulations as related to waste disposal is a plus.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Superior sales and negotiation skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite products and Salesforce (or equivalent CRM programs) preferred.
- Regular daily travel within the assigned territory to conduct customer sales calls or attend meetings at the processing facility. A small amount of overnight travel may be required.
