Full description of the position

Freight Brokerage Executive Sales Manager

An established and fast growing logistics provider based in Atlanta, GA is seeking an executive sales manager to implement a freight brokerage/3PL growth expansion strategy to reach a first round sales goal of $100 million in revenue.

The ideal candidate will be a proven sales representative/manager in logistics/3PL with a relentless and competitive drive to succeed. The candidate must be an outstanding relationship builder with strong communication skills who can articulate concepts, initiatives, and goals with clarity to a range of stakeholders and facilitate business development.

Responsibilities:

  • Recruit a high performance brokerage sales team.
  • Manage staff within the business unit, this includes interviewing, training, business development, and performance reviews.
  • Motivate brokerage sales team to achieve individual and team goals.
  • Continuously develop and monitor metrics/KPIs.
  • Achieve budget goals.
  • Resolve escalated customer service issues in a timely manner.
  • Create and maintain a positive and encouraging work environment.
  • Collaborate with teams to cross-sell company services outside of brokerage.

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of sales management experience in freight brokerage/3PL.
  • Prior experience in leading a team of employees in generating significant sales through customer acquisition and increasing revenue from existing customers.
  • Excellent communication skills with all levels internally and externally.
  • A deep understanding about the transportation industry.
  • Adaptable to a changing and dynamic company and industry.

Pay: From $100,000.00 per year
