Technical Sales Engineer - Mexico City, Mexico

Miltec UV is looking to further expand its business in Latin America with an active sales presence. We have an immediate opportunity for a Bilingual Technical Sales Engineer in Mexico City, Mexico.

We prefer the candidate live within the Southwestern part of Texas with easy access to travel into Mexico City.

This individual will be responsible for developing opportunities with new customers within assigned territory, sales generation, and account management. The candidate must possess industrial/capital equipment sales experience, along with consultative sales techniques and a "customer first" mentality.

Key responsibilities of the role:

Growing territory and cultivate new accounts by actively engaging in the market

Actively travel in the region to expand business (50%-60% travel)
Build and strengthen customer relationships with key decision makers

Solve customer problems utilizing Miltec UV applications
Prospecting, scheduling appointments and visiting new customers to review product needs and identify potential solutions for new sales growth

Monitor competitive landscape, aligning strategy and tactics to drive growth

Manage all leads and keep CRM software updated with appropriate information
Develop/execute territory sales plan
Attend Trade Shows
Prepare reports for marketing and sales
Collaborate and communicate with Engineers, Sales and other Miltec stakeholders to ensure excellent customer experience/satisfaction and outcomes

Maintain professional appearance and demeanor at all times

Key requirements include:

Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and negotiation skills

Spanish and English speaking/writing skills are prerequisites
Strong capital/industrial equipment sales skills to grow profitable new revenue

Proven solutions-based selling techniques and strategies

ROI analysis capabilities and financial acumen

Ability to educate customers and solve complex technical issues

Detail-oriented with strong organizational, time management, prioritization, and follow-up skills

Demonstrated sales performance record

Self-starter with independent sales management skills

Prospecting capabilities to build an ongoing pipeline of new customers
Possesses the ability to easily establish rapport and trust with customers
5 years Technical Sales /Industrial Equipment Sales or Service Experience

Excellent computer skills

Engineering Degree (preferred, unless familiar with UV industry)
Able to travel extensively within assigned territory
Valid driver's license and clean driving record

Additional Attributes:

Competent in ACT! CRM software
Familiar with UV Curing products

Sales Training Certifications

Experience as a Sales Engineer
