Now Hiring - John H. Carter Company - Inside Sales Representative - Process Solutions in Baton Rouge, LA

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Review, acknowledge, log, enter, build, and track MRO and Project orders using JHC’s standard processes and ERP Computer System (Microsoft Dynamics Business Central)
• Produce sales quotes within Business Central and Microsoft Word as needed.
• Assist in updating CRM and Salesforce as requested
• Utilize Emerson’s EIP systems (SMS, EET, Global Sales Center, etc.)
• Support and own customer-facing phone calls and electronic requests with pleasant demeanor
• Facilitate shipping of orders with the warehouse personnel
• Invoice customers using the JHC ERP Computer System (Microsoft Dynamics Business Central)
• Support and own emergency parts replacement, repair, and warranty issues as needed
• High level of attention to detail
• High level of communication and collaboration with sales and project team
• Backup support for the MES Inside Service Representative
• High level of proficiency in Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and Outlook), and other modern electronic business systems
• Other duties as assigned

Experience

• 2+ years experience in an Inside Sales / Customer Service type role dealing with process pumps. If NO experience in process pumps then experience in other industrial equipment may work

Education

• High School or better

• Community College/Vo-Tech or better
