Regional Sales Manager
Job brief
We are looking for a Regional Sales Manager (RSM) to build our dealer network, increase sales revenues and maintain customer relationships within an assigned geographical area.
The ideal candidate is a highly motivated self-starter with proven professional sales experience. We are looking for a true hunter with excellent communication skills who understands the customer needs and can deliver results.
Responsibilities
- Call on existing and potential customers to introduce, demonstrate and sell Abra’s products while supporting Abra’s overall sales effort.
- Develop new sales opportunities within existing accounts.
- Develop and present quotes and proposals for new equipment.
- Implement and achieve quarterly and yearly sales plan.
- Provide customer training on Abra’s product line.
- Maintain expert level of knowledge regarding Abra’s and competitive product lines.
- Participate in industry or promotional events (e.g. trade shows) to cultivate customer relationships
- Provide field intelligence on competitive activity, changes in markets, distribution and pricing as well as input on customer preferences and product features.
- Cost-effectively manage time and assets.
- Maintain professional presence and poise.
- Devise effective territory sales and marketing strategies
- Travel to meet with customers to address concerns and provide solutions
- Discover sales opportunities through consumer research
- Present products and services to prospective customers
- Update sales activities in [please apply online] sales performance according to KPIs
- Complete expense reports and other administrative duties as assigned
- Prepare and submit reports to Sales Management
An expert level of knowledge is required in:
- Sales, Negotiation, and Service
- Communication and Interpersonal Skills
- Organizational and Technical Skills
- Knowledge of construction, forestry, and agriculture equipment industry-Experience in these markets are preferred.
Requirements
- Proven sales track record of increasing sales and revenue
- Proficient in Word, Excel, Power Point & Google Apps
- Ability to educate and train prospects
- Ability to develop sales strategies and use performance KPIs
- Organizational and leadership ability
- Problem-solving aptitude
- Experience using Salesforce.com CRM tool to manage the territory
- Ability to travel as required, including overnight stays, approximately 25-40%
- Clean Driving Record
Compensation
- Will depend on experience level
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $100,000.00 - $300,000.00 per year w/commissions
