Full description of the position

We are looking for an energetic, team-player to join our awesome team Part-time OR Full-time. Starting pay $12 plus commission on sales.

Sun Center business Hours:

Sunday: 10 am- 4pm

Monday-Friday 8am- 9 pm

Saturday 9 am- 7pm

Our full-time employees are expected to work 35 hours weekly, and part-time 15-28, but we are extremely flexible. All employees are required to rotate weekend shifts. Shifts are anywhere from 5-8 hours long.

Responsibilities:

• Customer service- Greeting customers with a friendly manner and going out of your way to help them achieve their tanning goals, while being knowledgeable and priding yourself in customer satisfaction.
• Sales- Suggesting products to all customers that fit their personal desires, and recommending what is right for them. Also, offering memberships, packages, and specials that we have running, while familiarizing the importance of our products. Also up-selling to customers, by offering them additional product or information that will entice them to purchase more.
• Daily cleaning duties- Maintaining a clean environment for our customers and always leaving the salon cleaner than you found it.
• Till management- Being responsible for the till and receiving cash or credit card payments.
• Opening/closing salon

Qualifications:

• Must be 18 or older (due to tanning regulation law)
• Maintain a professional appearance- Show up to work with a presentable appearance/clothing. And don't forget, the best thing you can wear is a smile :)
• Multitasking- Performing at a top notch level, giving it your 100% every day.
• Outgoing personality- Going above and beyond to help each customer with their own individual needs, while keeping a positive attitude and maintaining positive relationships with our clientele.
• A+ communication skills- Hold conversations with customers and willingly put them first to resolve their issues and/or meet their desires.
• Team player- Work well with our amazing staff members and treat them the way you want to be treated.
• Hardworking- Gets the job done, meets salon goals and personal goals, strives to excel at everything you do.
• Punctual- Always on time, early bird gets the worm.
• Reliable- Showing up to scheduled shifts and not regularly looking for coverage.

Experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right person.
