Overview:
Florida Home-Improvement Associates (FHIA) is hiring a Regional Sales Training Manager with a salary of $140,000/yr plus a lucative bonus structure. The Sales Regional Training Manager is responsible for training, development and improving the productivity of the organization's sales department. This position is integral in the training and development of new sales reps to support our current growth strategy. In addition, this position will assesses the needs of the sales department for continuing education and developmental needs to drive training initiatives. This person will identify, create, develop and implements suitable training solutions for sales employees.

Responsibilities:
What You’ll Do:
  • The Sales Trainer will oversee the sales training department/process for the entire sales organization and 80+ reps
  • Identify appropriate tools to ensure curriculum meets learning objectives and contributes to an overall, enhanced performance outcome
  • This person will be responsible for reviewing & improving current training materials with a focus on content creation, process control, and writing documents for training
  • Oversee, develop, update and maintain training materials and procedures in an accurate and timely manner in order to support the staff and functions of the department
  • Deliver training using a variety of media and methods, including, but not limited to, instructor-led sessions and discussion, hands-on skills instruction, and various e-learning or virtual-based options
  • Discipline and provide coaching to sales representatives as necessary
  • Engage in one-on-one reviews with sales representatives to maximize performance
  • Partner with sales and marketing departments to set and progress towards goals
  • Collect and interpret data to determine effectiveness of training techniques
  • 40% Travel; some overnight, with majority of travel being within 2hour radi
Qualifications:
What You’ll Bring:
  • Three years of experience designing and implementing sales training programs
  • Experience training groups of +15 people
  • Experience training sales reps from no experience to competency
  • Background with 10 step selling process, one call close, someone who has actually practiced it/sold
  • Background with some home remodeling experience (Bath/Kitchen/Windows/Doors/Roofing)
  • Good understanding of the in-home sales process
  • Proven project management skills, with the ability to participate in initiatives according to business needs and strategy
  • Strong working knowledge and experience in Instructional Design, use of assessments, and evaluation of training programs for adult learners
  • Demonstrated ability for presentation/facilitation skills required
  • Learning Management System (LMS) experience
