Job Title: Insurance Agent/Producer (Sales)

Department: Sales

Reports To: Sales Manager

Job Summary:

Christie & Associates is hoping to hire an experienced sales person to help us grow our business. The insurance producer is responsible for identifying and securing new insurance clients for the agency as well as managing and maintaining existing customer relationships.

Special Requirements: Active Pennsylvania Property and Casualty Insurance License AND/OR extensive sales experience is preferred

Duties/Responsibilities:

· Work with management to create detailed business plan including goals and sales quotas
· Manage sales cycle from prospect identification, through quoting, final sale, and renewals
· Provide timely and professional after-sale service
· Quote and issue, policies in Insurance Company portals/website
· Document policy information and correspondence with customers and carriers in agency management system
· Work closely with different departments to place business and achieve sales goals
· Provide claims assistance to clients
· Meet with existing clients to perform annual reviews

Required Skills/Abilities:

· Experience working in the property and casualty insurance industry, AND/OR extensive prior sales experience preferred
· Positive and professional attitude
· Strong interpersonal skills, including phone and email etiquette and presentation skills
· Able to work independently and within a team environment
· Willingness and ability to learn a variety of company systems and procedures
· Organized and self-motivated, with an attention to detail
· Obtain/Maintain insurance license through completing required continuing education
· Strong with technology including the Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat, social media, etc

Compensation Package:

· Base Salary plus commission (based on experience)
· Opportunity for hybrid (at home/in office mix) schedule (when eligible)

Pay: $35,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
