Outside Sales Representative
All-Phase is one of the largest electrical supply distribution networks, with over 700 locations in the United States. All-Phase is currently seeking an Outside Salesperson to join their team in Indianapolis, IN. An ideal candidate would be dependable with the ability to create relationships with customers by offering exceptional customer service. Being able to problem solve and adapt in a fast pace environment is essential. All-Phase emphasizes the importance of integrity and being a team player.
Responsibilities:
- Market and sell products and/or services to organizations outside the office.
- Develop relationships with new and existing customers and provide information to maximize sales volume.
- Conduct market research.
- Quotes, prices, and prepares proposals and provides information regarding terms of sales and delivery dates.
- Plan and perform a variety of business development and outside sales activities.
- Identify business opportunities and prospects.
- Extensive knowledge of electrical products and their functions
- Ability to analyze customer potential, needs, and expectations
- Ability to determine target accounts and work with the Credit Office to determine the creditworthiness of customers.
- Ability to use a time management system to call on customers while building relationships and making sales calls.
- Ability to research Credit Memos.
- Capable of asking questions, understanding applications, and offering materials that fulfill customer requirements.
- Ability to sell cost-effective alternative materials.
- Receive and forward customer and vendor feedback while making suggestions for improvement.
- The desire to exceed expectations and earn customer trust and confidence in one’s capabilities and performance.
- Assisting in any other tasks that may need to be done in order to maintain optimal customer service

- Sales experience
- Construction sales experience preferred
- Knowledge of the electrical industry preferred
