Our client, a premier industry leader in audio and video solutions for both residential and commercial applications, has an opening for AV Sales Representative at its headquarters in Sugar Land, TX.
The AV Sales Representative (AVSR) develops, maintains, supports, manages and expands relationships with both existing and new customers with the purpose of generating additional revenue for the company. The AVSR will also work with marketing and product development teams to assist with business development initiatives regarding customer and industry feedback. The AVSR relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish revenue goals.

Key Duties:
- Proactively follows up with all assigned leads within the company CRM and HubSpot as outlined in the company's sales process
- Manages existing territory including identifying key personnel to contact via phone or email and establishes productive, professional relationships in assigned accounts designating next steps in account manager process
- Proactively assesses, clarifies, prioritizes, and validates customer needs on an ongoing basis
- Meets assigned targets for profitable sales volume and strategic objectives in assigned accounts and new customer acquisitions
- Operates as the lead point of contact for any and all matters specific to assigned client base
- Coordinates the involvement of company personnel, including support, service, and management resources to meet account performance objectives and customers’ expectations
- Develops new business opportunities through lead generation activities
- Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with customers and understanding their needs
- Work with product team to find and solve issues with incoming or preexisting inventory
- Work with product development team to improve or design new products for vertical market expansion
- Coordinate with import team to keep popular offline products in stock.
- Complete sales with qualifying skills to overcome objections and obstacles
- Upsell products to customers to provide them with better and higher value systems
- Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status
- Help co-workers with any questions regarding system design, product use, and product compatibility
- Maintain sales conversion rates at levels prescribed by management
- Ensure continued customer satisfaction, build and maintain customer relationships, and follow up with company resources to make sure after sales support is received
- Strong team player and who can also work independently
- Is a self-starter and self-motivator who does not wait for a task to be assigned
- Not afraid to take ownership and drives issues to closure
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related tasks as needed
- Present sales reports and realistic forecasts
- Can use company systems to create requested invoices and quotes for clients
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
