As a Transportation & Logistics Regional Sales Manager for M&L Worldwide Logistics, the position offers an extensive suite of services including domestic truckload and LTL. Transport (Drive Away) as well as International import and export. This role is expected to develop new client relationships, foster and grow current business and create new opportunities for the services we provide.
The location for this position is Jacksonville, FL area with expectations for this candidate to travel to surrounding areas/states to prospect and secure new business.
Primary Activities and Responsibilities
* Sell and manage our services to clients in a geographical territory covering 3-4 states.
*Negotiate and close on pricing and services proposals across the suite of services offered and managed by M&L Worldwide Logistics.
*Create and execute strategic account plans for key customers.
*Lead and strengthen business relationships with customers organizations while encouraging each prospect for improved performance or increased business levels.
*Qualify leads generated from various sources.
*Prospect and build a pipeline to grow existing and non-traditional customers.
*Make cold calls to prospect on leads and start the sales process using question-based selling techniques followed by consultative sales strategy.
*Use prospect lists to identify key contacts with target companies who are decision-makers for the services offered by M&L Worldwide Logistics.
*Perform at high level, producing required number and type of qualified leads.
*Miscellaneous activities and responsibilities as assigned by manager - which include but not limited to credit inquiries and collections, pricing reviews, etc.
Minimum Qualifications
* 5 or more years of experience in Transportation, Logistics, Supply Chain, Sales, Account Management, and a proven track record of business development or account.

Job Requirements
*May be required to complete a background check
*80% travel required to designated accounts within specified regional territory
*Work hours may vary in length and schedule (may include a non-standard work week)

*Competitive Base Salary

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
