Full description of the position

Our client is searching for a Sales Account Manager for the Houston area. This critical position is responsible for identifying potential customers and selling the Company's services to new and existing business prospects in the assigned region. Ideal candidates would have previous experience selling to educational, medical, or industrial facilities. This professional will be responsible for growing clientele and meeting quarterly sales targets and the salary range is $70,000-$80,000 per year plus commission (total compensation can reach $120,000-$150,000 per year).

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Business development.
  • Responsible for meeting quarterly & yearly sales goals.
  • Prospecting, cold-calling, networking, lead-generation, etc. to develop and expand the base of customers.
  • Focus on selling service that is profitable for the company, keeping with the company’s standard of quality and meeting the industry specifications.
  • Responsible to work alongside the operational teams to identify targets, review estimates and transition new sales.
  • Establish client needs and develop client presentations/proposals.
  • Serve as a consultant for client education.
  • Responsible to actively join and participate in industry related organizations to generate new work and cultivate existing clients.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3+ years of BTB sales experience.
  • Able to work well under pressure to meet established goals.
  • Ability to collaborate with other individuals, departments and teams.
  • High proficiency to write compelling, detailed sales proposals.
  • Must be well organized, able to prioritize and handle multiple proposals simultaneously.
  • Computer literacy including competence in [please apply online] Microsoft applications and web-based applications.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
