Field Consultant - Membership Sales
POSITION SUMMARY:
Sales team members are responsible for promoting and selling memberships, renewals, add ons, upgrades, supplements and setting up these members with a Fitness Assessment/services to current gym members and prospective members. This position may have additional operational duties assigned. Must be available days, nights and weekends.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

• Exhibit a superior sense of customer service at all times
• Willingness to work flexible hours
• One year of related industry or sales experience preferred
• High school diploma or General Education Diploma (GED)
• Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred

DUTIES INCLUDE:

• Engage in opportunities that positively impact the member experience, customer service is a priority! Always saying Hi, Goodbye and engage with every member within 10 feet.
• Consistently look for opportunities to gain new members and elevate their experience with our services.
• Prospect for qualified leads and create traffic through referrals, outreach. Marketing/prospecting daily outside of the club
• Prospect for qualified leads and create traffic through social media, direct messages from
• Share and scout opportunities through social media. events, and other marketing strategies
• Build a network of contacts through prospecting and referrals
• Develop and maintain relationships with current members
• Handle member concerns and resolve issues promptly; research solutions
• Determine prospect’s goals and motivation, be knowledgeable of all products, programs and services and ensure prospects understand the value of our services.
• Reach and surpass monthly sales projections as determined by your General Manager.
• Complete club walk throughs and look at cleanliness and machine function. Take notes/correct and share with the appropriate manager.

Compensation
Hourly + Commissions see comp plan

Required Experience, Education and Certifications
High school diploma or GED
Preferred Bachelor’s degree in a field related to health and fitness

Physical Demands
Position duties require daily walking, running, sitting, lifting, bending, squatting, reaching, lifting and racking weights of at least 75lbs, demonstrating exercises to clients and “spotting” clients to assure safety. The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $1,500.00 - $2,000.00 per month

• 8 hour shift

Weekly day range:

• Monday to Friday
• Weekend availability

• Fayetteville, NC 28304: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
