Inside Sales Rep

Preference Employment Solutions is actively looking for an Inside Sales Rep for a regional distributor. This position is responsible for developing relationships with customers with the goal of becoming the number one resource for material needs and problem resolution. Location: Moorhead, MN
Schedule: Monday- Friday 8:00am-5:00pm
Compensation: $60k+/year, DOE
Type of Position: Direct Hire, Full Time

Position Overview:

· Prepare quotes based on RFQs, formal bid proposals, and requests from customers.

· Answer customer questions pertaining to quotes, orders, products, delivery issues,

· Work with customers on pricing, lead time, return authorizations, and product training.

· Develop an effective feedback tracking system that will allow for evaluating and maximizing margin levels.

· Enter orders into the ERP system.

· Communicate with sales engineers on customer quote requests, orders, problems, and other appropriate issues.

· Develop relationships with customers by attending utility trade shows and other related functions.

Characteristics of a Successful Candidate:

· Associate degree or equivalent work experience in business, marketing, or sales required

· Experience with electric meters and/or AMI preferred, but not required

· Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

· Excellent customer relationship skills

· Adept with Microsoft Office suite

· Skilled multi-tasker
