Sales Support Representative

Starting pay: $15/hr.

On-site at our Lakeland corporate headquarters

The schedule during training is 8:30 am to 5:00 pm. The team’s business hours are Monday – Friday from 8:30 am to 8:00 pm to accommodate our West Coast customers. Team members must be able to work shifts during these hours; assigned based on business needs, after training is complete. Hybrid work arrangements are available.

Reporting to the Sales Support Manager and located in our Lakeland office, the Sales Support Representative will provide outstanding customer service and sales support for our customers as well as our sales team. The selected candidate will be responsible for supporting the entire sales process for ISN products from quotation though pre- and post-sale support.

Responsibilities:

• Responds to customer questions and requests presented by phone and other methods to order products and/or to provide product price quotes.

• Answers telephone inquiries to provide general product information such as product specifications and stock availability.

• Contacts vendors to obtain answers to questions, provide research information or conduct general product research whenever necessary.

• Resolves customer problems in a timely fashion.

• Issues Quality Assurance tickets in response to customer complaints, when appropriate.

• Assists salespeople in the field in supporting clients.

• Works collaboratively with team members in other departments as needed to address customer issues.

• Places calls to customers to inform them of product specials. Proactively contacts customers to inform them of any shipping issues and propose alternative solutions, when applicable.

• Solicits sale of new or additional products.

• Performs other duties and participates in special projects as assigned.

Qualifications:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

• High school diploma or equivalent

• 3-5 years of relevant sales and/or customer service and support experience, preferably in a call center setting

• Has a sense of urgency when communicating with customers and team members

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities

• Excellent oral and written communication skills, including drafting professional emails

• Strong computer skills with the ability to learn new software programs and proficiency in a MS Windows environment including use of Outlook, Word & Excel

• Ability to work independently as well as with others

• Flexibility to work various schedules according to business needs as needed

• Experience in the automotive tool/equipment industry is a plus
