Sun State is currently seeking an experienced Used Truck Sales Manager who will be responsible for the sale of heavy-duty trucks and trailers to customers with an emphasis on strong negotiation skills, efficient closure rates, and excellent customer service.

Required Education, Licenses, and Skills:*

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• 3 years of managerial experience in the transportation industry
• 3 years of experience selling trucks and trailers with a successful sales history
• Knowledge of truck makes, models, and specifications for sales quotes
• Valid Driver’s License, required; CDL license, preferred
• Effective communication skills, both written and oral
• Proficient computer skills; including Microsoft Office Suite
• Able to meet the physical requirements of the position
• Sales Territory will encompass the Central Florida area

Used Truck Sales Manager Tasks and Responsibilities:*

• Manage the daily operations of the Used Truck Center
• Coordinate all used truck business; including cost management
• Close sales within gross margin guidelines
• Meet and exceed sales goals for used trucks, trailers, and equipment
• Develop and maintain business relationships with multiple accounts
• Travel throughout assigned territory to call on regular and prospective customers using outbound sales methods
