Shafer Insurance Agency is looking for a Commercial Lines Account Manager in its Knoxville, TN office. The Commercial Lines Account Manager will be responsible for servicing new and existing Commercial Lines clients. As a successful candidate, we will depend on you and your time management skills to process changes, renewals, and cancellations; to check new policies against applications; to support the team in billing inquiries and quoting of new business and remarketing efforts; and to provide administrative support. The Account Manager will build and maintain excellent relationships with our various companies, provide outstanding customer service to clients, and assist others as needed.

Qualified candidates will have:

· a minimum of three (3) years of experience with commercial lines insurance,

· demonstrated ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships with customers and prospects with focus on client retention,

· a current P & C License or willingness/ability to obtain,

· strong computer skills, and

· strong verbal and written communication skills
