SOCIAL Magazines has an immediate opening for an Advertising Sales Advisor to join our team in St. Johns County, FL.

SOCIAL Magazines is a direct mail media that combines the love of local stories with the power of direct mail to make relatable, community magazines delivered free to every address.

By joining the SOCIAL sales team, your focus will be on developing new business and increasing the customer base for our Northern St. Johns County market magazine - St. Johns SOCIAL.

We are seeking natural sales people who are genuinely interested in marketing and the business success of our advertisers. The perfect candidate is an extrovert who is comfortable cold calling, field prospecting, networking, making new friends, and has a strong track record for opening and closing new business. You must have a natural talent for relating to others and be flexible to work with every single personality you encounter. Past experience in publishing, advertising and working with agencies is a plus, but not required. Experience using a CRM is desirable.

This is a rewarding sales position for people who do not give up easily and understand the hard work it takes to achieve the sales goals they are working towards. The perfect candidate is a self-starter, computer savvy, and a well disciplined individual who wishes to over deliver and contribute to the future growth and development of the SOCIAL Magazines brand.

Qualifications:

• Exceptional sales and relationship building skills
• Advertising Sales (online, digital, print, radio, TV, newspaper, social media) experience preferred
• Experience selling to senior level decision makers and agencies
• Lives in the designated market area of Northern St. Johns County.

Details:

• Full-time, work from home, Northern St. Johns County (Ponte Vedra, Nocatee, St Johns, Julington Creek)
• Compensation: Base salary plus commission
