Reports To: Inside Sales Manager
Location: Las Vegas, Nevada; Remote work options available to candidates with significant relevant experience
Salary Range: $60,000 - $80,000 OTE (uncapped bonus potential)
Position Overview:
The Inside Sales Representative executes sales strategy, initiates contact with existing and potential customers, identifies customer needs and sells appropriate merchandise to meet those needs, establishes and maintains working relationships with our customers to increase sales revenues and margins in support of company goals.
Essential Job Functions:
- Exceed sales & margin goals for assigned accounts.
- Generate and qualify leads through phone sales techniques.
- Develop list of prospects from directories, professional and trade membership lists and other resources.
- Secure and plan orders; enter names, addresses and other pertinent information of prospects solicited into database system.
- Develop and maintain an outbound call schedule utilizing company CRM tool.
- Follow up with customers to assure satisfaction, respond to inquiries, solicit further sales and solve or refer problems.
- Inform current and prospective customers of current promotions and new or upgraded products.
- Prepare price quotes and close orders.
- Research customer needs by asking detailed questions.
- Anticipate customer needs through upselling and suggested sell.
- Maintain strong working relationship with Outside Sales partner.
- Participate in company improvement programs, such as Strategic Planning Objectives and Continuous Improvement Programs.
- Participate and network in various industry associations and functions; attend training and trade shows as required.
- Must work ethically at all times and maintain the confidentiality of all customer and company knowledge.
Qualifications/Skills Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or equivalent experience required.
- Gaming and/or Amusement experience preferred.
- 2-4 years of inside outbound sales experience of distribution or manufactured products; high volume/low-mid mix preferred; technical sales experience a plus.
- Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet and CRM; order entry experience required.
- Ability to become licensed according to gaming requirements, if required.
- Self-starter with a high energy level and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Solid business judgment and the ability to influence people.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills essential.
- High attention to detail.
